    History and Facts About BayFest

Hailed as Mobile’s “Best Annual Event,” BayFest will be celebrating its 18th anniversary this year. Since its beginning in 1995, famous stars such as B.B. King, the Temptations, Kid Rock, and Ludacris have rocked out and entertained people from all over the states. It has become known for its vast array of renowned musical talent, suited for a wide audience and the entire family.

What makes BayFest one of the best musical events is the location. Most musical events are located on fair grounds, not really giving you the chance to enjoy the city. But BayFest is right in the heart of Alabama. When you’re finished rocking out, you can hop over to one of the many landmark restaurants and fill your belly on the rich, delicious southern food.
