    Dauphin Island is located just south of Mobile Bay and is a barrier island with access to both the Gulf of Mexico as well as the Mississippi sound. Residents and visitors cross a three mile long high rise bridge or by ferry from the eastern shore.

    The Island is approximately 14 miles long with 8 miles of undeveloped, privately owned land. Around 1,300 residents call Dauphin Island home. The community has a small town feel and residents enjoy miles of white sand beaches. 
    There is lots to do on Dauphin Island such as enjoy world-class fishing, swimming, sunbathing, touring historic attractions, boating and more. Popular outdoor attractions include the Dauphin Island Fishing Pier, Aloe Bay Landing Park, Dauphin Island Park, Bayou Heron Park and Magnolia Park. Many of these parks are waterfront!
